Open Competitive

Competitive curling league is an open league for school teams with at least one OCA competitive player. Public, Catholic and private schools play in the league with a custom playdown schedule resulting in a girls and boys champion from each board.

  • Boys teams (any combination of boys & girls)
  • Girls teams (all girls)
  • Up to 5 registered players per team
  • All players must attend the same school
  • 8 week schedule
  • January 10, 2012 - March 8, 2012
  • Mondays/Tuesdays (Dundas Valley) & Wednesday (Hamilton Victoria)
  • 3:30pm-5:30pm games
  • OFSSA playdowns (for eligible teams)
  • Feb 23 - 8, 2012
  • Teacher (or parent designate) required
  • $300 per team

Recreational League

Recreational curling league is an open league for school teams with a majority of new and house league players. The league is open to all schools and includes game play as well as a team and individual Hotshots championship.

  • Any combination of boys & girls on the team
  • Up to 6 registered players per team
  • All players must attend the same school
  • "learn to curl" instructional clinic
  • 8 games
  • January - Easter
  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursdays
  • 3:30pm-5:30pm games
  • "Hotshots" competition (March 29)
  • Teacher (or parent designate) required
  • $300 per team
