Our Objective

The Codes Of Conduct establish a clear set of guidelines for the player, coach and parent/guardian. Its primary goal is to help ensure that participation in sport is a fun, positive and enjoyable experience.

The Codes Of Conduct is based on the concept of fair play, defined by five basic principals:

  • Respect for the rules
  • Respect for the referees and their decisions
  • Respect for all participants, including team mates, coaches and opponents
  • Equal participation
  • Maintaining self control at all times
  • Players, coaches and parents should be familiar with and follow the Codes of Conduct at all times.

    Codes of Conduct

    1. Treat teammates, coaches, opponents and officials with respect and dignity at all times
    2. Be a good sport, play fair and rise above poor behavior
    3. Learn the rules and play by them
    4. Respect the officials and accept their decisions
    5. Play hard, but keep winning and losing in perspective
    6. Wait 24 hours before pursuing a grievance

    Discipline

    1. Infractions that occur during games are governed by published Rules of the Game and will be decided by the official
    2. Serious infractions may result in suspensions or bans and Soccer World imposed fines. Fines are the responsibility of the player

    Zero Tolerance Policy

    1. All facility users must complete an online or manual waiver
    2. Violent behaviour will not be tolerated and result in immediate suspension and fines. Actions perpetuated by an individual on a team may result in penalties and damages assigned equally to all members of that team.
    3. No spitting, eating sunflower seeds or chewing gum on the artificial turf surface

    Refund Policy

    1. Memberships are non-refundable.
    2. Lil' Strikers classes are refunded (pro-rated) if children are unable to continue due to physical or medical conditions. Classes are fully refunded if a child attends the first three consecutive classes of a session and the parents wish to withdraw their child from the program. 
    3. Lil' Strikers camp is refundable for unused days (if cancelled in advance) less an administration fee equal to the cost of 2 days.
    4. Micro 4v4 Soccer is 100% non-refundable once the league starts. Withdrawal prior to the first week of play is refundable less an administration fee of $25.
    5. Youth House League is 100% non-refundable once the league starts. Withdrawal prior to the first week of play is refundable less an administration fee of $75.
    6. Development classes (operated by Soccer World) are refundable on a pro-rated basis less an administration fee of $25.
    7. Rental contract deposits are non-refundable. Rentals may be cancelled for a full refund (less deposit) if cancelled at least one week prior to the rental date.
    8. Teams fees are non-refundable once the schedule has been released. Teams deposits are refundable less a $100 per team administration fee.

    Rental Terms

    1. Rental contact is responsible for liability insurance and any damage while in facility.
    2. No product sales during a rental without prior written consent of management.
